KVC PRINT is the first large format printer on 100% RECYCLED paper

A great innovation results from the partnership between KVC PRINT, paper manufacturers and the main displays on the market: the first large-format posters printed on100% recycled paper. The same rendering, the same print quality for largely measurable benefits for the environment. We are thus responding to strong market demand in terms of ecology and corporate social and environmental responsibility.

An organization focused on quality, safety and the environment

For KVC PRINT, social and environmental responsibility is not an empty word but a true state of mindwith an organization largely rooted in development, environmental respect and continuous improvement. This is why our company is committed, and invests in this context, in an environmental approach in order to guarantee the implementation and respect of working methods that respect the environment, throughout our production process.

KVC PRINT and innovation

The KVC PRINT teams are part of a continuous improvement approach at all stages of the manufacturing process. We are on permanent active watch on the evaluation of new printable media and in the use of increasingly eco-friendly products in order to be able to offer our customers specific 100% "green" offers, without this being at the detriment to the quality of our productions.

Posters on 100% recycled paper

Since 2014, a real sourcing approach has been deployed within the production units to test possible changes in the production process, in particular by enhancingthe most "green" supports and raw materials possible.

To this end, with the manufacturers of paper, tarpaulins but also inks, recurring tests are carried out to assess the extent to which 100% recycled materials can be offered to market players while guaranteeing quality and reliability of the rendering.

KVC PRINT is now able to offer the realization of poster campaigns on 100% recycled paper for the bus shelter (118.5 x 175 cm) and 8m² drop-down (320 x 240 cm) formats. By the upstream work carried out to adapt the printing parameters as well as tests in real situations carried out in partnership with the main displays on the market,we are able to guarantee a quality rendering identical to that on "classic" papers.

Using recycled paper offers the following advantages:

- reduction of pressure on forests,

- up to 2.5 times less water used compared to virgin paper,

- up to 2.5 times less energy used compared to virgin paper,

- up to 38% less CO2 emissions compared to virgin paper,

- promotion of the circular economy: 23,000 jobs linked to collection and recycling in France (source: Federec).

Compared to non-recycled paper,1 ton of 100% recycled paper used for our poster offer:

= 121 kg less CO2, i.e. a round trip Paris-Stuttgart in an average European car.

= 52,000 liters less water or 577 showers.

Large format posters are part of the perimeter of theeco-contribution on the papers. It concerns the tonnage of papers.

If you opt for recycled paper, you will get

-10% bonus!

All companies that emit more than 5 tonnes of paper on the market each year are required to be listed by Citeo, to complete a marketing declaration and are subject to an eco-contribution._cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_The basic amount of this eco-contribution is 67 euros per tonne, variable according to a bonus/malus mechanism

Our environmental impact reduction since 2018

Of2018 to September 2022, we consumed 500 tons of 100% recycled paper,

2018-2021 = 339 tonsrecycled paper consumed;

OfJanuary 2022 to September 2022 = 161 tonnesrecycled paper consumed;

In2021the share of recycled represented4%our consumption;

SinceJanuary 2022it represents8%.

The use of this paper VS conventional paper has enabled us to reduce our pressure on natural resources and our carbon footprint.

The figures below demonstrate the reduction of our ecological and carbon footprint
by having opted for 100% recycled paper VS conventional paper:
